Tom brings more than two decades of media production experience to his role as proprietor of The Really Interesting Picture Company. He writes, shoots and edits in a wide variety of formats for a broad spectrum of venues, ranging from documentaries, news and public affairs programming to interactive museum exhibits. As a producer / cinematographer, he has covered stories on fourcontinents, and his work has been broadcast by all the major North American commercial television networks, PBS, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, CNN, BBC, NHK (Japan) and Fuji TV (Japan).
Hildy Rubin
For more than twenty years Hildy Rubin has been writing and producing programs about nature and science for DiscoveryChannel, PBS/Nature, National Geographic, Smithsonian, ScienCentral, The Humane Society, The Really InterestingPicture Company, and many others. Her career includes a strong academic background in science, including an M.A. inScience Journalism (NYU) and a B.A. in Biology (SUNYBinghamton). She has also taught a graduate seminar onwriting science documentaries. Hildy offers a wide variety of creative and supervisory skills, as well as extensive experience,knowledge, and passion.
Malcolm Penny
Malcolm Penny spent twenty years writing and producing more than 250 wildlife programs for Survival Anglia. He also wrote and produced for Oxford Scientific Films, (including a twelve-part series of high-tech one-hours for Channel Four, UK) as well as German, Austrian and Swedish TV companies. In addition to his work as a musician and narrator, Malcolm is the author of "The Birds of Seychelles" (following his fieldwork in the Indian Ocean) and some sixty other titles, mainly for young readers.

David Spears is an award winning scientific program maker, a graduate zoologist, fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and the Royal Microscopical Society. Based in Taunton, UK, he has been filming specialty sequences for the BBC Natural History Unit, SurvivalAnglia, National Geographic and other major broadcasters worldwide for over 30 years.
